I know I've said this before, but some days I feel so overwhelmed with information. I like learning new things and having it all at my finger tips, but being most of my day is spent on the computer I'm constantly being surrounded by information. Latest news, weather forecast, cool pictures, random facts, facebook, email, pinterest, blogging.....and on and on and on. I tend to like to keep things together and organized so this randomness of info just makes me want to organize it! Google has a cool tool...called iGoogle which displays a homepage of sorts of whatever you want. As you can see from the pic below, mine isn't anything too special, but it's a nice one-stop place for multiple blogs I read, checking weather, inspiring quotes, learning something new or a playing a fun game (crossword puzzle not shown).
I've always thought of myself as pretty organized, but becoming a mom has made me realize there is always room for improvement. I would label myself as a "gatherer" not always a "doer". I like to gather recipes (many I don't even try), pictures of crafts (none of which I will make), homemade gift ideas (which I always see the day before I need a gift), etc. Because it can make me crazy to look at these "undone" things, my new goal is to take things little by little. Maybe shoot to try one new recipe a month or make one craft on the weekend instead of sitting down to watch TV. Most of those things are not necessary to live life so I shouldn't feel pressure to get them done but I do like that most websites allow you to organize neatly into categories so IF I ever make time for some extra projects I can quickly look them up and do them.

not only plan, but also believe."
